Meet Your Trainer: Leandro Carvalho
Leandro Carvalho is a fitness innovator who brings many influences from his native Brazil to his training techniques. His exercise methods are so effective, some of the world’s top lingerie models seek him out to help lift their backsides while sculpting lean, sexy thighs. Leandro is also renowned in the fashion world as the supermodel’s secret to a perfect butt, as many of his Success Stories strut the glamorous runways of New York, Paris, and Milan.
Armed with an extensive dance and a degree in physical therapy, Leandro launched his career in New York City, where he began working with legendary choreographer Merce Cunningham. Simultaneously, Leandro earned several personal training certificates and started to formulate his own unique approach to fitness.
Over the years, Leandro has seen lots of success with his Brazilian-inspired programs, which include Brazilian Groove, a cardio dance class set to hot Brazilian music, and Brazilian Body Surf, the class that brought the latest aquatic training alternative to water lovers.
